Terms of Service

By creating an account, accessing Brain Flex, or completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Brain Flex is intended only for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By using the service you represent that you meet this requirement. We may request date of birth or other information to confirm eligibility.

Creating a Brain Flex account is free. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account through the support channels available on the Brain Flex website or in your account settings.

You may delete your account at any time from account settings, subject to Section 16 (Termination and deletion).

A complete IQ assessment costs $4.99 as a one-time purchase. Each purchase grants exactly one assessment credit. One credit equals one complete assessment attempt. This is not a subscription and does not auto-renew.

A credit is consumed when an assessment is created and its question set is permanently assigned to you. From that moment the attempt belongs to you: interruptions, crashes, connection loss, or switching devices do not consume another credit, and you resume the same frozen assessment. Abandoning an attempt does not entitle you to a new question set from the same credit.

Brain Flex Vault is an optional, separate product: an auto-renewable subscription at $4.99 per month. Vault provides access to Vault logic games and related features for the subscription period. Vault does not include IQ assessment credits, and an IQ purchase does not unlock Vault.

Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. On the web, Vault is billed through Stripe. On iPhone, Vault is billed through Apple In-App Purchase as an auto-renewable subscription. Manage or cancel via the Stripe customer portal (web) or Apple subscription management (iOS). After cancellation, access typically continues through the end of the paid period.

On the web, IQ assessments and Vault subscriptions are processed by Stripe. On iOS, purchases are processed by Apple as In-App Purchases (consumable assessment credits and auto-renewable Vault subscriptions, as applicable). Payment method details are handled by those platforms and are not stored on Brain Flex servers as full card numbers.

Purchases made on one platform are subject to that platform’s rules and may not be transferable to another platform.

Where available, you may purchase a gift IQ assessment for someone else. Gift purchases fund a credit for the recipient and do not grant the sender an assessment credit or Vault access. Recipients must create or use an eligible account to claim and use a gift, subject to these Terms and the disclaimer.

Refunds are subject to applicable law and the rules of the payment platform you used (Stripe on web; Apple on iOS). Because assessment content is delivered when an assessment is created, purchases are generally non-refundable after a credit is consumed, except where required by law or approved for a genuine technical fault.

If a completed payment is fully refunded before its credit is used, that unused credit may be revoked. A refund or payment dispute never silently deletes a completed assessment result. Ambiguous cases may be reviewed manually. We do not intentionally create a negative credit balance.

Subscription refunds and billing adjustments for Vault follow the applicable Stripe or Apple policies.

You may cancel Vault at any time through the billing management tools for the platform where you subscribed. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund the current period unless required by law or platform policy.

• Brain Flex is not a licensed psychologist and does not provide any diagnosis.
• The assessment is not a professionally administered IQ examination.
• Results must not be used for medical decisions, psychological diagnosis, educational placement, disability determination, employment screening, legal decisions or clinical evaluation.
• Brain Flex is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or derived from Mensa, Pearson, WAIS, Stanford-Binet, Raven or any other testing organisation.

Vault games are entertainment and reasoning practice. They are not proven to increase IQ or prevent cognitive decline. Full limits are described in the disclaimer.

You agree not to: copy, record, scrape, redistribute, or publish Brain Flex assessment or Vault items; attempt to extract answers, solutions, scoring parameters, or calibration data; reverse engineer or disrupt the service; create fake accounts to abuse promotions; harass others; or use the service for any unlawful purpose.

You agree to complete assessments honestly and without unauthorized assistance intended to distort results. We may invalidate attempts and suspend or terminate accounts where integrity or these Terms have been compromised.

Brain Flex, including assessment questions, artwork, Vault puzzles, scoring materials, branding, and software, is owned by Atlas Labs LLC or its licensors. All rights are reserved. Assessment and Vault content is original; we do not reproduce commercial or clinical test instruments. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the service as provided — not ownership of the content.

You may share your own result and create challenge links where the product allows. You must choose how you are identified on shared pages (for example display name or anonymous label). Do not share content that impersonates another person. You may disable a link where the product allows; deleting your account disables your challenge links.

We aim to keep Brain Flex available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Features may change, and we may perform maintenance, throttle abuse, or discontinue parts of the service with or without notice where reasonable.

Brain Flex is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis for recreational and informational purposes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Atlas Labs LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Brain Flex is not a licensed psychological or clinical assessment and does not provide medical, psychological, educational, employment, or legal advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for decisions made on the basis of a Brain Flex score, Vault activity, or any service content, and for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the relevant purchase in the twelve months before the claim or fifty U.S. dollars (US $50), except where prohibited by law.

You may stop using the service and delete your account from account settings. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, fraud, abuse, or legal requirement. Deletion removes profile and associated assessment data as described in the Privacy Policy; certain financial or legal records may be retained as required.

We may update these Terms. Material changes may require acceptance of a new version before continued use. The version you accepted governs your use. The current terms version identifier is 2026-08-v1.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and applicable state law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles that would require application of another jurisdiction’s laws, except where mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence apply.
